Jaisalmer Arrival & Sightseeing
Upon your arrival in the beautiful Golden City of Jaisalmer, your assigned driver will be waiting to welcome you.
You will be picked up from the railway station or bus stop and escorted to your hotel. After checking in and
taking some time to freshen up, get ready to begin your first day of exploration in this historic desert city.
Jaisalmer Fort
Begin your Jaisalmer tour with a visit to the iconic Jaisalmer Fort, often referred to as the Golden Crown of Rajasthan.
One of the very few living forts in the world, it is part of the Hill Forts of Rajasthan and was recognised as a UNESCO
World Heritage Site in 2013. The fort is bustling with local life, markets, temples, and centuries-old architecture.
Patwon Ki Haveli
Continue your royal exploration with a visit to Patwon Ki Haveli, a magnificent cluster of five havelis commissioned by Guman
Chand Patwa for his five sons. As the first and one of the grandest havelis in Jaisalmer, it is renowned for its intricate
carvings and now houses exhibits maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India and the state’s Art and Craft Department.
Salim Singh Ki Haveli
Next, explore the impressive Salim Singh Ki Haveli, a 300-year-old architectural marvel known for its distinctive peacock-shaped roof,
resembling the stern of a ship. Once the residence of the powerful Prime Minister Salim Singh, the haveli beautifully blends Mughal
and Rajput architectural styles.
Nathmal Ki Haveli
Admire the artistic beauty of Nathmal Ki Haveli, famous for its yellow sandstone façade and detailed elephant carvings. What makes this
haveli unique is its construction—built simultaneously from two different sides by separate architects—resulting in a perfectly balanced
yet subtly asymmetrical design.
Gadisar Lake (Boat Ride)
Conclude your sightseeing with a peaceful visit to Gadisar Lake, once the primary water source of Jaisalmer. Surrounded by temples and ghats,
the lake offers a tranquil setting where you can enjoy a soothing boat ride and take in the serene charm of the desert city at sunset.
